Price's Paint L.C., formerly Price's Garage, was founded by Jack Stewart Price in the year 1940. It began
operation at 202 Russ Street, building with a one- to two-man work
force. The company offered 24 hour towing and auto body repair.
The company has enjoyed the privilege of the City of Raleigh towing contract continuously since 1959. Additional property was purchased on Russ Street, and the business began to grow. The Company moved in 1984 to the current location at 221 Russ Street.
In 1986, James S. Price, son of Jesse and Linda Price, graduated from high school and began working full time as an apprentice. He had previously worked part time through his teenage years. After working some time, he became the new manager for the body shop and wrecker service. He completed training with a 3M management course.
All estimates are prepared by computer with a Mitchell Estimating System. We doubled our space in the body
shop with an addition to our present building in 1994. We continue to keep up with the latest technology for automobile body repairs.
We are proud to be known for quality work and for honesty with the customer.
We will honor any major insurance
company's estimate and work with them.
